Video: ONE (Very Easy) Way To Improve Your Health…Today!

Video: ONE (Very Easy) Way To Improve Your Health...Today!
Yay! It’s time for another NITK Video post!

I’ve quite enjoyed making these videos (I also create videos for Gorgo Women’s Fitness Magazine) and have seriously laughed my butt off at the pieces I edit out. I promise one day I will make an NITK Video blooper reel.

Today’s video is simple, to the point, but definitely not to be underestimated. The power of what I am talking about in relation to improving your overall health is pretty stellar.

I’d love for you to watch the video and let me know about your experiences regarding the points in the video:

Do you have a special trick for increasing water intake?

Have you noticed health improvements when you’ve intentionally increased your water intake?

I’d also love to know what you would like me to talk about regarding health, nutrition, wellness, or my own experiences in future videos too!

So, let’s get into it shall we!

Video Highlights:

0:21 – The ONE thing you can do!

0:30 – 3 reasons WHY drinking more water improves your health

1:22 – How to increase your metabolism by 30%!

1:53 – How to actually drink enough water… even if you “always forget”!

2:32 – The key to being consistent! Take it with you 🙂

3:11 – How this helps you to develop a good habit

3:38 – Final remarks

Thank you for watching! I look forward to creating the next video addition.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and while you are at it subscribe to the NITK Newsletter for great recipes, health and nutrition tips, and more videos to come!

  • Great video! Such simple, easy advice made interesting, inspiring and accessible! It’s so true that most people really do know they should do this, but just don’t quite accomplish it – you’re little trick is a great way to keep on task! 😀

    • Hey Shelley! Thanks so much for the feedback! Yes, that’s the one thing, there’s a difference between knowing and then actually doing! 😉

  • The only problem is when a person like myself is a cashier at this busy time of the year, especially…..you’re not free to run to the bathroom. And guess what happens when I drink that much water….. yeah. lol

    • Ah yes, that can be a challenge – one thing I find is that if you slowly sip water through the day versus chugging it at intervals the urgency/frequency to have to go pee is a lot less!

  • Hi, Actually that I am unable to hear what you are saying because of my hearing losses. There are many people who become hearing loss too and hoping to add close captioned(cc)or subtitles. That will be great for us. Please let me know. Many Thanks.

    • Hi Eva Maria! There is an option on the youtube page for Close Captioned! 🙂 You just have to click on the video to take you to youtube and then on the bottom of the video screen beside the settings icon you can select the little square icon and it turns on the subtitles. They aren’t 100% accurate but they are pretty good! 🙂 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_CEH_cdn0f4

  • Great video Christal! Awesome practical tips and a great reminder. I don’t think I’m drinking enough water even though I do drink water through out the day. I don’t ever really have a way to measure it, so the elastic bands is a great idea! Just a question. Does tea (herbal) count as water? What about pure OJ?

Can’t wait to see the blooper reel one day, that’s gonna be good! 😉

Oh and the “pulley thing” on top is called a carabiner (pronounced cara-beener) hehehe!

    • Thanks Kim! I would count herbal tea as part of water intake but not orange juice! Haha thank you, I knew there was a name for it!!
